Force gauge
Force measuring devices are used for the high-precision determination of ACTUAL values, which are related to pressure and tension stresses. These values are used to control stress-critical points and to calibrate testing equipment. In addition to indicating the applied stress, the force measuring device also provides information about the type of measurement. Tensile and compressive stresses are displayed in the desired physical unit on the display. Decreasing battery power supply or overload is reported through optical and acoustic warning signals.
Electronic force gauge for mobile use
Mobile electronic force measuring devices enable force measurement at any suitable point of a system. Because the highly accurate results contribute to the design, adaptation, or expansion of sensors on a unit. Therefore, force measurements can be carried out independently of location during routine inspections or targeted troubleshooting. An electronic force measuring device is particularly suitable for service providers who can perform measurements in-house or on-site upon customer request
With a large and easily readable LCD display, all operation and control values are always in view. Fully encapsulated sensor buttons allow for interference-free operation even in environments heavily laden with dust. The robust and waterproof casing thus protects the electronic force measuring device well against splashing water, dew, humidity, and light impacts or falls.
Operation is very simple: once the tolerance range has been entered in the force gauge using an upper and lower target value, the test can be started. The force and tolerance ranges can be freely selected.
The EFG series force gauge includes: Impact-resistant transport case, six accessories for various measuring applications, and a charger for the integrated battery. Where local power access is available, the force gauge can also be operated with a direct connection. For mobile applications, the integrated battery allows for several hours of operation.
Hydraulic force gauge for on-site use without power supply
A hydraulic force gauge is especially suited for quick, power-free operation. The hydraulic force gauge is in no way inferior to the electronic force gauge in terms of accuracy. The hydraulic force gauge is available in five different models. This ensures that the appropriate force gauge can be found for every application. The analog circular instruments work extremely reliably and with high precision. If desired, they can be replaced with digital models. These are particularly useful in darkness or for transferring data to a central collection point.
The hydraulic force gauge of type HKS is designed for linear compressive stresses. The force is displayed immediately and linearly on the analog display during the application of force. A force reception range of 250-630 kN is available in the sensor area.
Higher compressive stresses of up to 1.6 MN can be determined with the HKL force gauge.
If the compressive stresses are not linear but angularly offset, the hydraulic force gauge of type HK3 can determine the necessary values. With its three measuring points offset at 60° angles to each other, the device is suitable, for example, for checking clamping systems on lathes.
For the precise determination of tensile stresses, the hydraulic force measuring device of type HKZ is suitable. It is developed for testing purposes but can also be permanently installed. The type HKZ is available for up to 630 MN of tensile stress.
